How-How….
How-How….
First, I would like to thank everyone for making our first tribe meeting this past Monday a big success. It seemed like all the girls had lots of fun meeting each other, eating snacks, and making their tie-dye t-shirts. Hopefully the blue dye has worn off the dad’s fingers by now.
I have included an updated Tribe Members list, and schedule. Please look through the member information and send me any updates you may have.
Our first activity/outing of the year will be this Saturday, September 21, at the Rainbow Ranch trout farm for a fishing expedition. All of the girls at the tribe meeting seemed excited about going. It should be pretty fun for us dad’s as well. Can’t wait to see the look on their faces when they actually catch one, so remember to bring your cameras!
We should plan on meeting at Rainbow ranch when it opens at 10:00am. The Ranch will provide all the fishing rods, reels, bait, and tackle free of charge. No fishing license is required. The only cost is associated with the fish you catch, Rainbow Trout is $3.92 / lb.
Directions: Take 400N to the highway 20 exit. Turn right onto highway 20 and go 4 miles. Look for the Rainbow Ranch on the right.

The next tribe meeting will be at Danielle &
Kevin Abel’s house, Little Cub and Big Tiger, on Monday, October 14th.
Kevin will send out direction when it gets closer to the meeting.
When we started our 2002-2003 Indian Princess season, we were in need of an “Assistant Chief”, a “Talley Keeper”, and a “Wampum Bearer” to create our tribal leadership for the Cheyenne Tribe. I am proud to announce that Kevin Abel (Big Tiger) will be our new Assistant Chief, and Sam Sego (Grand Eagle) will be our new Talley Keeper. “May the Great Spirit of all Good Spirits” guide them in their tribal duties. We still need a dad and a princess to be our Wampum Bearer, to collect and keep our tribal funds safe. Please let me know if you are interested.
